This is the two paged questionnaire that I got people to fill in. They are all in the teenage age group. This is a flaw as different age groups have different opinions. They include a mixture of open and closed questions.
Here is a graph (above) that shows (as expected) that tension is very important when creating a thriller.

results show that other conventions include the fact that the storyline
is not too farfetched and that there is are indepth characters. I can
show this through costume and lighting when that character is on screen
to activate a certain mood in the audience when a certain character is
on screen. Others state that there must be an antagonist and a
protagonist to help the story move foward. This is very important but
seeing as this is the start of the film I only want to show an
antagonist.
